Texas Property Tax Code Sec. 31.08. provides that any person may request the tax collector, for a taxing unit, to issue a tax certificate showing the amount of delinquent taxes, penalties, interest, and any known costs and expenses due to each taxing unit on a property.
The collector charges a fee of $10 for each certificate issued.
